About
Bright Minds Learning Center opened its doors in 2020 as a licensed facility with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, having a capacity of 204 children. Due to tremendous success over the past several years, we have expanded! Starting early 2023, we will be able to serve 170 children at the center and we are now licensed to hold 204.
In 2024, we added a bus to accommodate families that need transportation to Carey schools.
We accept state childcare funding for families that apply and qualify for benefits. We are also proud members of Ohio's Step Up to Quality Program, which ensures that our center not only meets, but exceeds high standards for daily child care and education.
Our staff is trained in the Recognition and Prevention of Child Abuse and Communicable Disease, First Aid and CPR. Staff members also complete a minimum of ten educational training hours per year, to ensure that they are able to provide the best possible educational experience for our students. Our center uses the Bright Wheel App for communication between staff and parents throughout the school day as well as sending pictures and videos that all of our parents love!
In 2022, Bright Minds Learning Center received the Wyandot County Distinguished Contribution to Economic Development Award. The Treasurer of the State as well as The Honorable Robert E. Latta from the U.S. House of Representatives extended their congratulations.
